Are you planning on traveling to Brazil for the World Cup?

The Brazilian Gringo team has launched an initiative to improve the World Cup experience for those who will be coming to Brazil to see the games.

We’ve been getting a lot of questions from people about the World Cup. Is it safe to visit Brazil during the World Cup? Where are the best places to stay? What are some cool things to do while we are in Brazil? How can we meet other people when we get there?

To assist the needs of foreigners traveling to Brazil during the World Cup we’ve created Facebook groups for each of the 12 cities that are hosting the games.

These groups exist so that people can ask questions about the city, coordinate events and meet other people who are traveling to that city to see the games.

Be sure to bookmark this page as we will be taking the best tips and information about the World Cup from these groups and sharing that information here. If you have something you’d like to share, please do so in the comments.
